As a first grade teacher at Lee Rd. I had Jimmy's brother Tommy. I would like to write to the family to offer my condolences. I have to ask my husband, Conrad Knott if he had Jimmy. We both taught. I would like an address so when I make a donation to Sloan Kettering.

Dear Louise & family. My heart is broken for you all. The Duffys & Pooles were a great part of life in Wantagh for so many. So many memories. I remember Jimmys smile could light up the sky. I will keep him in my prayers and wish for him a peaceful & beautiful eternity with his loved ones who have gone before him. Peace to you all.

As all who ever met Uncle Jimmy, you ALWAYS felt accepted and welcomed. His great laugh with a little head jig, i loved, was contagious. Always had a smile on his face. BBQs out back as we were all growing up are memories that will never leave. EVERY TIME I smell hamburgers on the grill, Ive always and STILL share my memories he gave to whomever I am walking/biking with. So kind, everyone felt comfortable even in silence simply sitting by him. The Duffy's, having such a tight and connected immediate family, has been his strength. I know such comfort and warmth has been (and always will be) 100x more than any words i say. I saw only great joy in all those pictures shared of the family on FB and emails. Endearing.
Aunt Louise, you provided a fantastic life for him - you both did this together. And together you will always be.
