Loving father of Alice Marold (the late John), Charles A. (Mary), Mary Helen Randolph (John), Beatrice Chase (Aaron), John (Jacqueline), Jane Murphy, Suellen Gomes, and William. Devoted grandfather of Jimmy, Don, Lori, Mike, Eileen, John, Michelle, Elizabeth, Margaret, John Paul, Kristy, Michael, Kirsten, Luiz, Jeanine, Timmy, Joe, Christina, and the late Jacqueline Marie. Adored by his 22 great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Sal, Joe, Carmine, the late Frank, the late Cira, and the late Rosemary. Graduate of Manhattan College. Proud WWII US Army Veteran: member of the 287th Engineer Combat Battalion. He was a man of great faith and devotion to God. Longtime member of St. Raphael's Parish where he served on many committees. A lector for 31 years, he was known for his booming voice. He loved God, his family, his country, and the New York Yankees. He was an inspiration and role model to all. Reposing Thursday, after 2 pm, at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home: 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd. (Exit 25N SS PKWY) East Meadow, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, 11:00 am, at St. Raphael's R.C. Church. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday and Friday, 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.
