To The Family of Jacob Eng:
I am writing this letter to offer my condolences for the loss of your dear loved one Jacob. I too have recently lost three loved ones in an 18 month period of time. Recently, you published a notice sharing your memories of Jacob in the Newsday. It seems unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. The Bible has comforted me during my loss with repeated promises that God will soon eliminate death forever and Jesus has provided the prospect of being reunited with our loved one who have died. When you get a quiet moment, please take the time to read the following comforting scriptures:
Isaiah 25:8 – “He (God) will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord, Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”
Revelation 21:4 – “He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more.”
Daniel 12:2 – “Many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up.”
Yes, in the very near future, death will be no more! If you would like to learn more, please go to www.jw.org and click on the video, “Why Study the Bible.” You can also go to www.jw.org, Bible Teachings, Bible Questions Answered and look under the topic Life & Death where there are 11 questions on the subject. Click on the subject, press play and listen to the Bible’s answers to these important questions.
I hope to hear from you but if not, may the God of comfort hear your prayers and comfort you during this time period.
Sincerely,
Robyn
