Growing up on Woodbury Road will forever be a precious memory for me. The Vaccaro's were like a second family to me. Staci and I were childhood friends running from one home to the next with sleepovers etc and I always felt welcomed in their home. Mr Vaccaro always had a smile on his face and had such a warm spirit. He just let us be who we wanted to be as kids and never showed any anger or annoyance like some adults might. I just remember him as a kind and loving Dad. We moved away when I was 16 and through the years I have gone back to see the house we grew up in and I was lucky to be able to visit with the Vaccaro's a few years ago. Although a lot had changed with his health, even then he had open arms and a warm heart when he saw me. I feel blessed to have had him as a next door neighbor and friend. I know this is a difficult time for the family but lean on each other and know he would want you to be happy and cherish all those wonderful memories you all created together through the years. Thinking of you all!!!

Our deepest sympathies to the Vaccaro family. Clem was a dear man and a good neighbor when I was growing up in Hauppauge. He always seem to have a twinkle in his eyes and was so good natured. Our prayers to you all.

Marie so sorry for your loss, he will be missed. Remember the good & fun times we all shared and take time to laugh about it. When I first heard he passed your not gonna believe what popped into my head. Ask Ray, Margie & Phyllis if they remember being on the beach in Aruba & Clem sitting on a chase with the towel over his legs & the 3 ladies walking by I'm laughing right now just picturing it Hope you can remember & it puts a smile on your face.Love you!DRPDy
