My Condolences to Andy and Toni-Ann.
What can one say about Lynette that one does not already know? Words cannot describe the person she was. I was fortunate to have met her 39 yrs. ago and to share so much with her in so many ways. I loved her sense of humor, her laugh, her warm heart and her special and loving personality. We became Best friends instantly. We've shared things no one knows. We use to say we really were sisters with different mothers. we thought alike, had the same qualities.
Best Friends means different things to different people. Some insist that you can have only one best friend. Others assert that they have best friends for different aspects of their personalities. Whatever the precise definition, your best friend is the person who gets you. They understand who you are and what you are saying. The greatest distance cannot separate best friends. You will always feel a kinship with them, and be able to instantly continue the friendship even after not talking for many years. Lynette was that person.
I'm at a loss for words none can compare to the loss of you.
To you my Sister Lynette.
you're still my sister,
Even if we are not blood related
Even if there's no paper or information on a computer
Saying we are.
You're still my sister,
Because it is a bond
That is rare
Special in its own way,
That took time to build,
And no matter what people say or do
You're still my sister,
Since the day we first met
It was a friendship that was just meant to be,
We shared so much
Through time
We never had fights,
Did things that we may not have agreed with,
But no matter what happens
you will always be my sister,
you're someone that was always there,
And I was always there, via phone when I moved away
And if the day comes
When we do go our separate ways,
You my sister,
My friend, will always be in my heart,
Because you have changed my life in so many ways,
Gave a friendship that happens very few times in someone's life,
And
I want to say thank you, and that I love you
Forever and always,
My sister.
You will be forever missed.
Love
Marie
