Rod was my father in law for 13 years, and although he hasn't "officially" been that for almost as long, in my heart and mind he always has been. He was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. My children loved their Grampy very much, as did I, and along with them, and all who knew him, I will miss him dearly. RIP Pop.

Rod has been my accountant since i was 17 years old, think i was working at mcdonalds at time lol Now 46 never missed a year with him helping me and now my family. Your going to be missed Rod, and all your funny jokes and stories!

I worked for and with Rod in Lawrence for many years. He was a great boss, and also a great friend which is a rare thing with many bosses. He was a good man and I am terribly saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.

My fondest memories of Rod go back to the 1980’s, when my husband, Kevin Higgins, Rod and my father, Tony Mignone were active in the NAPS Organization of the Post Office. We went to conventions and many dinner dances together. Rod was a great person, a real standup guy. He attended my husband’s and my wedding in 1987. He will truly be missed. My condolences and prayers go out to his family, friends, all who have known him and his vibrant personality. May he rest in peace.
