Grandma,
I am your grandson's friend, I call you Grandma because that's who you are to people in and outside your family, what a beautiful soul. When invited to functions, I often watched how you interacted with your family members, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I was always in awe by the boundless energy you had. You managed to make every grandchild feel like they were number one. Your steps were effortless and you did what needed to be done with a smile.
I wrote mental notes to myself, this is what a righteous person does, this is how a righteous person conducts themselves with others. You carried yourself with honor, distinction, grace and humility.You did what is asked of every human being that walks and have walked this earth, and did it well.
Everyone is inherently born with these attributes, few people use these gifts and live admirably, as you did. I stand and applaud you for a life well lived. I am certain you have impacted your family in the same way you have impacted mine.
