Lew Angelone, One of the great ones. My name is Phil Lenz and I had the great privilege of coaching baseball for several years with Lew. Lew was a very happy guy and he was not shy about sharing that happiness with those around him. He was a dedicated father who loved his son Mike very much. I enjoyed every moment I got to spend with them. Lew always had a smile to offer during many long, hot, double headers, dedicating his whole day to all the boys. Heaven took a good one from us today. I will always have Lew in my thoughts and my heart.

Lew was one of the good guys at Christ the King High School. We were classmates and graduated together in 1969. In a year where our class celebrated its 50th anniversary, it is especially sad to hear of the passing of a fellow graduate.
