As a father in law you were always kind and sweet. As a grandfather to my daughters, you were a treasure. You were funny, you appreciated a good joke and teased me plenty. I can still hear your laughter, so charming and generous. You were especially cute at Christmas. I have the fondest memories of you that I will always cherish. I can honestly say in all the years I knew you, I never heard a negative word from your lips about another person. Rare is the person found so good in spirit and so genuine in character and that is what you were, rare! I hope you are soaring with the angels in paradise, Pop <3 Love and miss you, -T

To my great Buddy Sal, we grew up together. We were 12 years old when we met. Instantly became close friends. We played ball together, We played for the St. Cecilia basketball team, and went to the championship. At Cardinal Hayes High school. And lost by 1 point. We played for the Wolves basketball team at night. Sal was known as one punch Sal. You get him angry, he would bite his tongue. And you knew you were going to get hit. I never got hit.... Lol. I going to miss the you Pal,Buddy , dear friend. I love you. And not ashamed to say it.

to My Uncle Sal
You are already missed. ’m sorry that you had to leave but I hope you are in a better place. I’ve been thinking of all the times I’ve seen you and how you would say anything that came to mind and I would crack up. You truly were hysterical. Especially when you couldnt hear all I said you would answer on what you thought I said. You always put a smile on my face and I thank you for that. I love you and will miss you. Hey whose gna break my shoes lol. Rest In Peace love Marina

He was a fun guy to be around at family functions. We would always joke around and his famous line would be "Stop breaking my shoes." As my son got older Uncle Sal took a liking to him and they would joke with each other the way I did. Of course he spoke that famous line"Stop breaking my Shoes". He will be truly missed as a great Uncle and my Godfather. When I listen to the great Italian crooners, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Jerry Vale I will always remember him.

We are so sad to learn of Uncle Sal's passing... he was a great man. Very sweet and always fun to be around. I used to love watching him and Aunt Ann dance at weddings... they had such chemistry!
We will all miss him!
