Patrick McQuaid of Levittown devoted husband to Doreen of 45 years. Dedicated father to his four children Kristie (Ron-or as Pat called him Moe), Cory(Christopher), Allison, Daniel (Kerri). Cherished grandfather to Kassidy,Joseph,Megan,Tyler,Jack,Robbie,Lucas,Kelsey, and soon to be Daniel Jr. Pat was also survived by his five siblings. He was predeceased by his father James, mother Sally, father-in-law John Goldfuss and mother-in-law Shirley Goldfuss. Pat was a well respected bricklayer supervisor for the New York City Housing Authority where he worked for over 40 years. He and Doreen started dating 47 years ago in Queens, New York, where they both grew up. They moved to Levittown in 1980 where they raised their four children. There they enjoyed 44 years together before retiring to North Carolina in 2019. Pat and Doreen’s love, strength and faith was something to aspire to. Pat was well known for his strong work ethic. If Pat wasn’t at work he was working on his house, yard or car. His family and friends always knew they could count on Pat for help with their own projects and Pat loved that role. Pat was a dedicated family man and friend that was always there to offer caring words of advice and wisdom. In his free time Pat loved sitting on the beach with a good book or taking Doreen for a long ride on the motorcycle. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and they all adored him. A memorial mass will be held at a later date to celebrate his life. We were all blessed to have Pat in our lives and he will be missed immensely.
