Obituary
Joseph M. D’Ornellas went home to God on April, 4th, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was a loving son, brother, partner and uncle (or 'Just Joe') as was his preference. Joe had an extensive and successful career in television, covering events from the Super Bowl and Olympics to The Masters and NFL, eventually winning a Sports Emmy as an Associate Director with CBS. Joe passed his love of movies and music onto his family leading some to love Billy Joel and Star Wars and others to an education in Television production. The one constant, all things enjoyed at max volume.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Olga and Joseph D’Ornellas and his partner Richard Cordero. He is survived by his sister Donna Fleming, her husband Bob, his nephew Bob Fleming and his wife JoAnn along with their children Kaitlyn and Bobby , his Niece Jennifer Gisler and her husband Michael and numerous cousins.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
