I am posting this tribute message for my Mom who wanted to say something about Aunt Violet, her sister n law who she loved so very much ..... The best thing about Violet was her sense of humor and her loving way. "My best memory of Vi was when she sang It Had to Be You... to my brother John". It always melted my heart. Aunt Violet was a STAR. The woman knew how to enter a room and captivate an audience. Many fond memories of Aunt Violet and Uncle Johnny visiting all the way from the Island. In recent years it was such fun to see her and Lilly at their sister Rose's birthday celebration. Any reunion of the Flower Sisters was a must-see show. As Frank would sing, Aunt Violet, I get a KICK...out of you.

I have so many beautiful memories of aunt Vi but most of all was when she sang with her sisters and made us all happy and entertained. But truly that is only one small memory. Her positivity and warmth reach everyone's hearts whenever she was with you. Her SMILE and SENSE of HUMOR will stay with me always. She is singing with the angels now for sure! xo Love you aunt vi always... you were such a trooper!
