Cathey has been a part of my life since we were five years old. She had a huge heart and giving spirit. Her positive attitude even during the past year was unbelievable. She was not going to give up. Cathey made me laugh, sometimes she made me crazy and now she's made me cry. Rest easy, Cath and give Carl a hug for me.

Cathey touched very many lives and I was lucky enough to be one of those lives. We were more than close friends, we were like sisters. Cathey always had a way of making me laugh every time we spoke, even through the last year while she battled pancreatic cancer. She fought her illness with all her might and had such a great attitude. We were there for each other during the good times and the difficult ones. I have countless memories of Cathey which I will always remember. She was loving, compassionate, generous, and so much more. She loved to cook for people and entertain in her home. I learned a lot about good cooking from Cathey who enjoyed sharing her cooking tips. I miss Cathey and I will every day. Love you Cathey, Jan G

We are pilgrims on a journey
We are travellers on the road
We are here to help each other
Walk the mile & bear the load
The Servant Song
Thank you Cathey for letting me accompany you on your life's journey
Cathey had a wonderful positive spirit throughout her illness & was a joy to be with
And wonderful example of perserverance
I lost a very good friend with a kind & generous heart
Who never met a stranger she didn't try to make a best friend of
She was a caretaker to many family members
And Co vid took away the opportunity for her generosity to be repaid
She was proud of the legacy of the many blankets she left behind
She was so excited about her prayers of encouragement she received that she framed them all in a book
I remember her for her long & big hugs just when u needed them most
An ear to listen when no one else would
A cup of tea at that very busy table
Falling asleep on those late nite calls we enjoyed sometimes
And I'd do anything to be able to not get a word in edgewise while talking on the phone to her again
Cathey who suffered many years from not getting a good nites sleep
Can finally now rest in peace
I love you Cathey
You are surely missed
I wish circumstances would have allowed me to be with you More
I'm,grateful I got to be with you,in the, beginning for your first chemo treatment
I know ur getting reacquainted with long gone family & friends
And I know when my journey ends you will be there fighting to get to the front of the line to greet me
