Arlene and I were so shocked and saddened to learn of George’s passing. I have wonderful memories of George back in the days when our sons were playing ball in the East Meadow Little League. He put in a lot of time and effort for the kids, and did his volunteering with such high ethical standards and cheerfulness. And he was just a nice man. The world was better for his life and is a bit emptier with his passing. Our condolences to his family. —Arlene and John Vosilla

We are so saddened by George's passing. He was a man with a gentle and kind soul, a loving heart, and full of compassion. He wrote to my son many times while he was in boot camp to be a Marine - that meant a lot to him and to me. Linda, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Janine and Leon

George will be greatly missed. Together we had the joy of sharing grandchildren. We have known him for 35 years. He was a wonderful loving grandfather to all his grandchildren and he played a very important part in their lives. We all had many happy times sharing stories of our grandchildren and sharing special occasions. George was always very kind and welcoming. He was a gentleman who loved his family.
