Rose was my chaperone when we went to Ireland in 1998 and she and Joe became my pseudo-/ temporary parents while I was there. Every year afterwards I looked forward to seeing them at the Games, and being greeted with a big smile and hug. Both are missed more than words can express.

I am a 1980 alumnus of East Meadow High School. Served as an office Intern my Entire Time There. Joe was The Nicest Person I have Ever Met. Pleasant, Very Easy To Talk To. And The Love Between Him and Rose was Obvious To Anyone That was Around Them.. I Loved Rose To No End. We had Many a Laugh..and I Mean Many..... Rest In Peace Joe and Rose..You are Both Greatly Loved From The Heart Joe, Frank, and Mark and Families: In My Thoughts and My Prayers...

I remember meeting Joe and Rose for the first time at the Games for the Physically Challenged. They both were such warm and lovely people. We were all so very sad for Joe when Rose died. I am so sad to hear that Joe has died. He is with his beautiful Rose now and both are joyous to see one another. Please know that your father, grandfather and great grandfather leaves behind a wonderful legacy. Prayer for you all.

We will always remember Uncle Joe smiling, dancing, telling stories and making Micky Mouse pancakes for all the babies! He and Grandma had such a special bond, very grateful to have witnessed them together. Will miss you, Uncle Joe. Love you. Much Love and blessings to our family, thinking of you all and holding you in our hearts.
Peace and Light,
Lorna and Sage
