My Uncle Jackie – Only good and loving memories to say about my Uncle Jackie.
One of the first things I can recall going way back—when Uncle Jackie brought
Aunt Ginger to the house on Sackman Street and we were in the kitchen (Grandma,
Uncle Jackie, and Aunt Ginger). Just remember meeting my future Aunt Ginger
in the kitchen! Must of been eating!
I remember their wedding in somebody’s house! How exciting it was to see Uncle Jackie
and Aunt Ginger getting married.
I remember they lived across from the Silvercup Bakery and wow did it smell so good
to visit them.
As the years past, my family moved to California and when I came to visit NY, Uncle Jackie
picked me up and we stopped at a Diner for coffee and coffee cake! We talked and we were
both happy campers...eating!
Another time when I was with Uncle Jackie at his house, he asked me to massage his feet.
Do I say NO? Of course not – he’s my Uncle Jackie. Yes I did it but it was challenging. No
further comment on that!
But my last memory with Uncle Jackie was in 2009 is when Jeff and Claudette had the family
reunion. What a blast Uncle Jackie had with the whole family.
Since that time, Uncle Jackie and I always kept in touch by phone. He would call and say
“this is Jack Singer”! Really….Uncle Jackie? I needed that reminder?
Uncle Jackie, I will miss your phone calls, our conversations, your laughter. I will always love and
miss you. You are a very special person in my life – you will always be my Uncle Jackie.
Love Your Niece, Linda

My brother Jack was a good man. He was always there for me in good times and in bad times; as he was for his family and friends.
Not only was he my brother but my Best Friend!
May he be rewarded in Heaven for all his good deeds in Life.
Love Your Forever Brother and Best Friend,
- Ronnie
