I have lost a brother! Ted was a very talented and well sought after basketball player at Oceanside HS. I was so proud of him. He loved family, liked to cook and play golf among other things. His life has changed, but not really ended or forgotten. May he gain an everlasting place in heaven with our parents. (In the photos included, Ted is on the right.)

Tedwood,
You and your son have been in my life for the past 20 years. Many, many lunches and dinners and leftover parties. I will miss the backyard hangout by the firepit...You, smoking a cigar and having a beer, and just relaxing.
Fond memories of you will be missed dearly.

I have so many memories of my big brother Teddy. It's so hard to put into words how much I am going to miss him. As a little girl I used to rebound the basketball as he practiced his shots in the backyard. I went to his games and cheered him on. After I got married, Ted was a big part of my family's lives and joined us for all of our holidays and occasions. He was there with us as my kids grew up was glad to see the pride he took as his own son grew up-with Drew becoming part of our lives, too. Even living in Texas, we spoke on the phone frequently with a promise that he was coming out to see us. I loved hearing the "heddo dhere!" greeting I got when he answered the phone. I am reminded of him every day and know he'll always be with us in our hearts and memories.
I am glad I did get to speak to him recently and tell him I love him. I wish I could tell him again. Maybe he'd answer me in his "Ja-ja-ja-Jimmy Stewart" accent.
The photos are Ted with his sisters, Sue, Nancy and myself; and another with his brother Peter and Peter's wife Casey.
I love you, Teddy.
-Your little sister, Christy
