Kathryn Rose Eschmann of Garden City and Point Lookout passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday November 21st, 2021. She was born April 4th, 1940 in Queens, New York. The daughter of the late Alexander and Sophie Maus. She’s survived by her seven children; Kathryn (John), Janet (Stephen), Alison (David), Marianne (Ken), Peter (Lauren), Thomas (Melissa), and Tracey (Stephen). In addition to 24 beloved grandchildren who fondly remember her as Granny. She was a strong presence in the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Faith and family was held close to her heart and she was extremely fond of the Point Lookout community. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 2 pm - 4 pm and 6 pm - 8 pm at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10:30 am, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal R.C. Church in Point Lookout, NY. Cremation Private.
