JANKOWSKI – LENA of East Meadow, NY on December 7, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Jankowski. Devoted mother of Cherylann (Vito) Romano, Jennifer (Robert) Leone and John (Annemarie). Loving grandmother of John, Andrew, Kerry, Christopher, Joseph, Tara and Thomas. Predeceased by 5 siblings. Survived by her sister in law Ann Marie Pietruszka. Lena, lovingly know as “Mama Lena” was originally from Brooklyn, NY where she met and married the love of her life Jack in 1950. They later moved to East Meadow to raise their family. She and Jack moved to Florida for a few years to live their dream. Lena was a devout Roman Catholic who loved her family and friends dearly. She will be deeply missed by all. Family will receive friends, Wednesday, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY.
