Joe was sorely missed at St. Frances when he moved to Texas. He had a wonderful smile and a gentle spirit. He was such a true gentleman, and he reminded me of my father. Everyone knew how much he missed his dear wife Agnes. If there is any comfort in his passing, it would be knowing the joy of their reunion. From what I have read about Joe's life, it can be said of Joe, "La Famiglia e Tutto". Joe, thank you for your service to our country and to our church. It has been an honor to know you.

I met Joe when I joined the St. Frances de Chantal Knights of Columbus Council in December, 2004. Since then we became good friends along with his beautiful wife Aggie. He became my mentor when I took over as editor of the Council Newsletter, the "Chantal Chatter" from him after being the Editor of the "Chatter" for many years. I had always said that if you looked up "Gentleman" in the dictionary, you would find his picture. He was and is respected by his fellow Brother Knights. Though mostly a quiet man, when he spoke at meetings everyone listened and held his opinion in high regard. Every time we met, he would always ask "how is your beautiful wife",when my wife Diane was not with me and to give her his regards. As stated in his Obituary, Joe was one of the Founders of the current 300 Club and served as its Chairman until he moved to Texas. It continues to this day raising many thousands of dollars for charity.
To say he will be sorely missed is an understatement.

My Dear Cousin Joey has been part of my life since March of 1948, when he came to Grand Central Station to bring home his Aunt Fran and Uncle Sal and their Brand New Baby…..and he s been in my heart ever since….through Beautiful times and Very Hard times….offering the Wisdom of his experiences… his compassion and Love. I think I became a touch stone to him….Always with our Family ‘s Traditions at the center.
I will miss our weekly phone calls…and surprise Facetimes….that always ended with us laughing….He s with Aggie and Annie now
And My Jim Too
Rest Well with the Lord for a life well lived!
My Sympathy and Love go out to Joseph and Celeste and Families
We’ve All Been Blessed to Have Had Him In Our Lives…

His legacy lives on in his wonderful children, grandchildren, and great grandkids. Give Aggie & Annie a kiss from us!
