To my childhood friend who became family over the last 40 years. We will miss you so much Janine. Through communions, graduations, weddings, baby showers we were always there to celebrate eachothers milestones, the happy ones and unfortunately days like today. I cried so much when I heard the news, but I also smiled thinking of the amazing welcoming you had when you got to heaven. Grandpa Henry, Grandma Annie, Grandma Laura and Grandpa Phil and of course my mom!! But I know D laf was the first to give you a big smile and hug, I know how much you missed her. Please give my mom a hug and kiss from me and my baby boy my Edward hug and kiss him for me and hold him whenever you want and i will give your baby a hug everytime i see him from you ( if he will let me haha) I am so sorry you are no longer with us, we will take good care of Kristi. Watch over her, Tom, kristopher and Mlaf until they see you again. Love you janine xoxo rest in peace

I can laugh for hours thinking of all our crazy memories. Over forty years of the “Alder Avenue Crew”, I wish there could have been forty more. So many memories of our cherished beach and pool traditions that we will carry on with Kristopher. Maybe even start a new tradition of a movie night so we can make sure Kristopher sees all your classic favorites like Pee Wee’s Big Adventure and Spaceballs. I will always remember your laugh as you quoted “Ludicrous Speed” and “It’s not for sale Francis”.
None of this will ever make sense. The only comfort is that you are now reunited with DLaf. Janine, we promise to take care of Kristi, Kristopher, MLaf, and Tom. Please watch over them always. Give my mom and DLaf a hug for me!

My dear Janine, where do I start? There are so many happy memories. The one that still makes me laugh is your knack of falling off your chair within the first 5 minutes of every meal, especially in restaurants! I think you did that until you were like 12! Then there were the hours me and your mom would con you and Kristi into braiding our hair (it felt so good) while we watched TV with you both. You would braid my hair into a billion braids and Kristi would do ponytails all over your mom's head. Then we would laugh, until the pain of taking all that out of our hair! Beach days were a trip also. We'd turn around and say "where the heck is Janine" and there you would be doing cartwheels the length of the beach along the shoreline. So many more ... your laugh was infectious and your smile lit up a room. I will always remember those days of laughter and fun. I love you and will miss you, a lot. Give your mom a big hug and kiss for me.

Rest In Peace Janine .I will always cherish the many happy memories growing up together on Alder Avenue first as neighbors and friends but along the way truly becoming like family . Heartbroken that you have left us all too soon. Love you so much and you will truly be missed . I will hold you in my heart for the rest of my life . We were co- maid of honor in Kristi’s wedding and we’re both so happy and excited for her ! I remember how you wanted everything to be perfect for Kristi right down to every last detail ! But My favorite memories of you Janine will be of the loving Mommy who got right down in the sand to build sand castles with Kristopher on our beach trips . The Mommy who was always really excited to dress up for Halloween and have fun when we went trick or treating . You did it all - Laser bounce , trips to the mall ,roller skating , swimming in the pool…When I last saw you , you were shopping for Kristopher’ s Halloween costume - in August ! - Just so he could have the best costume ! You always just wanted him to be happy ! Please rest easy now knowing that Kristopher will always remember these happy times and know how much you loved him . I take comfort in knowing that you are now reunited in heaven with Mom. ❤️❤️

Janine will always have a very special place in my heart. Before I was married, I was blessed to spend quality time with Janine when she was a preschooler.
She was full of energy and shared lots of hugs filled with love. It was because of her loving nature that I looked forward to having children of my own some day. Later I was blessed to have our daughter Dominique and Janine and her loving sister Kristi were wonderful with Dominique as a baby and toddler.
We have other memories of both our children Dominique and AJ enjoying fun times with their cousins Janine and Kristi.
Those days will always be precious.
May Janine be at peace with Our Lord and her Mom too.
May Janine’s son Kristopher, her Dad Michael and her sister Kristi and her brother in law Tom along with Grandma Kaye all find strength in the love that they have for each other, for the love they have for Janine and the Love Janine shared with them all.
May your loving memories of Janine help you each day as your hearts and souls heal with time.
With loving prayers lifted up for you all and sending hugs too,
