I've met Mr Tony in 2013. He lived next door to me on Peters Ave in East Meadow. He was a loving, caring, energetic neighbor. May he rests in peace.
Respectfully,
Pierre St Thomas

These are the things we know to be true about Anthony R. Prainito. Let's start with his Love of music. It was part of his world as much as drinking water is to the rest of us. He would find out what your favorite music was... then spend his day putting your request on a USB flash drive & then gift it to you, so you may play it in your car while driving. He listened to Music all day long. He had speakers in every room of his home & Yes that included the bathroom! Tony loved his two dogs "The Girls" Jigs & Scarlett. His daughter Annette calls them his Fur Babies. Be on Alert... were you to ask Tony over ... his first question would be: Can I bring "The Girls"? Tony loved to go Fishing on his son Deans' boat. Even a bad day fishing was still a Great day for him, just as long as he had company & was on the water. Let's see... Yes, if you knew Tony you had to know he Loved Food! Desserts were at the Top of his list. One of his favorite dishes was prepared by his sister Josephine! He "sweet talked" her & told her "Nobody" could make Spaghetti & Clams like her. Then drove her crazy requesting it and the leftovers to take home. Now let's discuss the BIG Love of his life "Family & Friends" & how it brought Joy for him to bring them all together. That being said, you can imagine how Happy he was when his children Annette, Dean, & Anthony Jr had a Surprise Birthday Party for him!!!To him this was a thrill he could not stop talking about. He said it made it worthwhile turning "75". It truly became one of his greater joys to see Family & Friends come together & he so looked forward to the annual "Cousin Party" in December. You can imagine his delight in combining his Love of Family & Food at Cigar Nights at Mio Posto. The mere mention of a Cigar Night by his brother Matty had him on the phone trying to get his Sons, Son in Law, Cousins, & Neighbors to say Yes to a night out for All You Can Eat Great Italian food.
May I say from our lengthy talks when Matty, Tony & myself sat at his kitchen table drinking coffee & him eating his favorite corn muffin.... there is no doubt his True Love was, in his stories of his four kids "His Children". His Love, Memories, Cares & Concerns were all addressed. We were truly able to see he was a Proud Father.
Our wish for Anthony is, that he is now reunited with departed Family & Friends. May they be on a Boat listening to Music & Eating a Big meal of Spaghetti & Clams along with a large piece of chocolate cake for dessert... then we'll know Tony is truly in Heaven!
Our Deepest Sympathy & Love, Brother Matty & Sandy
