Obituary
KROPF – Lila Marie (nee Foltz), 86, of East Meadow, NY, went peacefully to be with the Lord on March 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late John T. Kropf. Loving and caring mother of Peggy Brady (fiance’ Phil Canfora), Catherine Harris (late Richard ), Diane Lebedz (Scott) and the late Patricia Marie Kropf. Adoring grandmother of Tara Brady Williamson III (James) Justine and Bryan Lebedz, and John Harris. Thrilled great-grandmother of namesake Fiona Lila Williamson. Blessed daughter of the late Robert E. Foltz, Sr. and Marie Gerard Foltz, sister of the late Robert E. Foltz, Jr. and Eileen-Mary Foltz-Shaw. Lila worked for the telephone company, leaving in 1956 before the birth of her first child. A stay-at-home mom, Lila was a kind, caring and loving mother to her four daughters. Lila and her beloved John were generous and devoted parishoners of St. Raphael Church for 65 years. Lila was a member of the St. Raphael Rosary Society and a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. Her legacy was a true child of God. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love of her adoring family, and her non-judgmental demeanor. She was a blessing, and was blessed, also, to be loved by so many friends and “adopted” family members. Lila Marie will be sorely missed. Now she is united, once again, with the love of her life.
