Dear Holz family,
Your mother’s passing has been a tremendous shock, to everyone especially to the entire Holz family and the St. Raphael’s Church family!! I was just talking to Mrs Holz last week after mass. It was always a joy to chat with her!! You could see she was so proud of Fr Holz, and all of her family!! I am going to miss not seeing and chatting with Mrs. Holz, just like she was one of my aunts!! Till we meet again in heaven, Rest In Peace Mrs. Holz, with much love Lucy and Jack Scala.

The Saint Raphael CYO Basketball Program and my family sends it's deepest and most sincere condolences to the Holz Family. Although our encounters were albeit brief, the times I did talk with Mrs. Holz I was always struck by the huge sense of pride she had in her family. This past April, when Father Holz received an award from CYO at it's annual Role Model Dinner, I could see how incredibly proud she was. This picture says it all.
Proverbs 31:31: "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."

What a wonderful day we had and many others. We enjoyed ice cream at the beach, watched the kids, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Your smile in the picture that was picked is perfect and that blouse that you ❤️ loved. I love to hear her speak about the family she so loved. The husband she missed and loved so much. She loved her sons so much, her daughters-in-law, And her grandchildren, and great grandchildren She was so proud of her family. I really considered you a friend and I will truly miss you.
Your friend Ele

May God bless and hold tight the Holz Family on the passing of their beloved Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. It was truly my joy to know this strong woman who obviously was the rock of the family. I will miss her sharing of stories about the family she loved and the Church she was devoted too. I was in awe of her accomplishments although, I feel for Mrs. Holz they were more just steps in her life. The gracious lady was well ahead of her time. While she raised 5 sons, who became awesome gentlemen, she was a role model for the women of her generation and those that followed. College educated, wife, mother, teacher, working with the elderly, Eucharistic Minister, Catechetical Leader, grandmother, great-grandmother and of course, friend. "...her works bring her praise at the city gate." Rest in Peace Mrs. Holz. And, thank you! Ellen Fox

Mrs H was one class act ! Loved talking to her about raising five boys…we raised one. Recently (memorial day) I told her how much I admire her and how proud she must be of each of her sons and their accomplishments…her response was “ I didn’t do it alone….my husband was a big part of raising them”. So selfless. During this conversation, she spoke several times of how much she wanted to go home…meaning Florida…she even asked me if I would drive her down! God had a different plan…however, she is home safe in the arms of our Lord, her beloved husband and son…She will be missed but I find comfort in believing that. Rest In Peace “Classy Lady”, I’ll miss our chats and remember you always…..Diane

Aunt Rita was one of the most kind and generous ladies ever. She was a very giving and holy woman who could never do enough for you. She's up with her loving husband and son now. We're missing her here on earth because she should not have left us so soon, but we can be confident in the fact that she is now in paradise.
I love you Aunt Rita - please give hugs and kisses to Uncle Bob and Francis.
