It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gail L. McElroy on November 15, 2022. She was a young 69, full of “love and affection.” Family was everything to her. As a mother, there was no limit to the love and affection she doted upon, Christopher and Kevin. That devotion was only superseded to her grandchildren: Isabelle, Abigail, and Jack. Born to George and Mary Bonin, Gail and her siblings Dennis, Delores, Joseph, and Ruthie spent their childhood in Queens Village, NY. She moved to Portage, MI in 1985 and raised her family. As the kids branched out into activities and sports, Gail was the first to help out with events and coordinate with fund raising. She will be missed by all who knew her. We will live by her example and keep her in our hearts forever. Devoted mother of Christopher and his wife Amanda, and Kevin. Loving grandmother of Isabelle, Abigail, and Jack. Adored sister of Dennis, Delores Cascio (the late Peter), Joseph (Lorraine), and Ruthie Nekola (Joe). Cremation Private.
