Marie N. Rispoli Born in The Bronx, New York to parents Joseph and Rose Sales. She had three brothers, Michael, Louis, Joseph Jr. and a sister Theresa (all have predeceased her). Born June 24, 1932, she just celebrated her 90th birthday. In 1952 she married Pasquale F. Rispoli (deceased 2007) and they had two children, Lorraine (Jim) and Ronald (Diane). Four grandchildren followed, Lauren (Kevin), Michael (Stefany), Thomas (Kailey) and Steven. Great grandchildren: Silas, Fiona, Chloe, Aiden and Easton. Her family was her life. She loved taking care of people, cooking, baking (especially her famous carrot cake and cheese cake). Everyone loved her cooking especially her sauce and meatballs. No matter what time day or night she was always ready to create a meal for you. She was the matriarch of our family both immediate and extended. Everyone looked to her for guidance and assurance. She was an avid crocheter, making numerous blankets, doilies and christening sweaters. She loved the Yankees and watching her son and grandsons playing softball. She loved spending time with her friends playing bingo at the senior center. She was a strong-willed woman who looked forward to each day, living in the moment and especially for Thursdays for her hair appointments. We will miss her dearly and will hold her in our hearts forever.
