Michael Coyle of Wantagh, NY, passed away on June 1, 2023 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Maureen for over 52 years. Loving father of Kerry Veas (Philip), Mark, and Kenneth (Amanda). Cherished grandfather of Jack, Reagan, Connor, Julia, and Callan. Michael grew up in Greenpoint, Brooklyn where he met the love of his life Maureen and many of the friendships that have lasted his whole life. In 1968, he served his country with pride in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Upon returning to the states Michael and Maureen moved to Wantagh and started a family. In 1982, he found his passion officiating for the Catholic High School Football League, making treasured friendships and memories . Family was the cornerstone of his life, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He will be missed by all who knew him. Family will receive friends Sunday, 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Avenue (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY.
