George Pressman passed away suddenly on July 11, 2023 at his home in Lakeland, Florida. He was 83 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY on Jan 13, 1940 to Louis & Francis Pressman. He graduated De Witt Clinton HS in the Bronx in 1958 after that he joined the army. After being discharged from the army, he traveled the world and met the love of his life Dorothy (Sturtz) Pressman while on vacation in Israel. Shortly after, they were married on Dec 5, 1971. They settled down in the Bronx & had one daughter, Regina, who was light of their lives. They moved to Levittown, NY in 1978 and built a home with wonderful memories that will be cherished forever. Sadly, Dorothy past away on July 30, 1989, but we take comfort that they are now reunited together. He was a truck driver for Arnold Meats until 1996. After that he did security work & drove a limousine. He moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1997 & worked for Disney as a bus driver until his retirement in 2008. After that he moved to Lakeland Florida to live out his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Temple, Civil Air Patrol & Knights of the Pithians & volunteer at Special Olympics He is survived by his Daughter Regina Bongiorno (Pressman), son in laws John, grandchildren Sophia & Joseph. Brother-in-law Henry Deutch, sister Diana Deutch (pressman) died 2008, nephew Steven Deutch, 1st cousins Judy Jordan (Blank) & Sherrie Gail (Blank)& many cousins & friends. He was loved by all for his generosity & his ability to tell crazy stories. He will be missed by all who knew him and remain in our hearts forever.
