E. Ruth Taylor Lawyer, of Levittown, NY passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 79. Loving daughter of the late Frances Taylor. Devoted mother of Christopher (Kelli). Proud grandmother of Darcianne and Matthew. Cherished sister of Donna Scala (John) Beloved Aunt of Brian and Russell. Adored cousin to many. Ruth was dearly loved by her extended family and many friends. Predeceased by her brother Harry Taylor, mother Elaine Penkert and her best friend Karen Skudin. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 4:00pm - 8 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am, at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Levittown, NY. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
