She was an extraordinary wife, mother and grandmother who treasured time with her family more than anything. She loved visiting new places, planning family vacations and traveling to many countries with her husband, friends, and family. She loved to cook, especially her devoured rice balls on the holidays and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed socializing, playing mahjong, and other games with her Westbrook Village retirement community neighbors. Family will receive friends Friday, September 29, from 2- 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home, 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd., East Meadow, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Island Harvest or SmileTrain.
