HI DAD- I WAS HOME IN EAST MEADOW FROM THE END OF JUNE TO THE END OF JULY WORKING ON THE CONDO. VERY EMOTIONAL TASK TO DO. I SAT IN THE LEATHER CHAIR AND THOUGHT ABOUT ALL THE BASEBALL GAMES AND FOOTBALL GAMES WE WATCHED TOGETHER. BITTER SWEET. CERTAIN THINGS MADE ME SMILE AND OTHER THINGS HURT ME SO MUCH TO SEE. YOUR SUNGLASSES IN THE TRUCK JUST SENT ME INTO TEARS. EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING. YOU ALWAYS TRIED TO PREPARE US FOR THIS AND NOW IT IS HERE. I AM TRYING DAD. HUGS TO MOM. WILL WRITE AGAIN. I met both Mike and Jeanette before she passed while working for the CPA they used and then knew him thru other friends while he worked at the funeral home. He was always such a kind person to know and I enjoyed my conversations with him. I just saw him again last summer and am very sad to hear of his passing. Condolences to the family. Will miss you Mike RIP

To April, Debbie and Arlene, I am so sorry for your huge loss. I knew Mike since I was a kid and he has always been such a kind considerate and caring man. Always there to talk, lend a hand or give advice. He was considered the "Cool" dad on the block. At times he let us hang with him, even if his girls weren't around. Such a gentle man. I wish the world had more people like Mike in it.
Mike will be missed by so many people. My brother, David told me that Mike gave him his first airplane ride when he was 13, David has his pilots license and has his own plane because of Mike's friendship and caring ways. RIP Mike, I will always remember you.
