My uncle was one of the greatest men i’ve even known, i miss him so much everyday not a day goes by where the thought of him doesn’t pass my mind. He was the best uncle any little girl could ask for he always drove me to school, cooked for us, helped me with homework, all with no complaints. I never thought I would ever have to go through life without him being there to crack a joke to me after a long day or ask me how my day was. That was just the kind of person my uncle was, he always looked out for everyone else before him, the most selfless, amazing man. I love him so much he was my second dad and raised me. I will always have a hole on my heart that he filled, he always prioritized our family above all and i’ve always admired that. Always taking care of me, my dad, and my sisters making sure we were always safe, cared for, and loved. My uncle brightened the entire room with his laughter and I miss his laugh so much, I would do anything to hear it again. I will be forever grateful for you and for everything you’ve done for our family. I love you so much uncle, genuinely thank you for everything, I hope you’re resting easy, I will see you soon. Love, Mikayla <3

William went by Billy, Uncle Bill, he was more than just a memory, and more then just a name, More of a person then anybody reading this could possibly know, to our family. He helped out with his 3 nieces, and he took care of his mother. He also helped greatly, care for our 3 dogs and 2 cats that also adored him, and were a big part of his life, as well. He was greater of a brother to me then ever was my own. He was both brother and best friend to his almost ‘twin like’ sidekick, my husband, Richie. We shared talks and laughs in our home. Memories spanning nearly 2 decades. In only the time I’ve been here, he brought so much into this place, that now feels like is greatly missing in our lives, that words just could not completely describe, but we’re all hurting. That won’t ever cease, sadly. But when I look back on Billy, I’ll remember a great guy with a heart of gold that was too good for this earth. A guy that we wished could have been with all us all, just a little bit longer. The world outside may not have shown as much love & appreciation for his good deeds & his selfless ways as his kind heart deserved, but at home, uncle Billy was very much so loved & adored, and was an irreplaceable part of our lives. He was funny, and was calm in nature. He was loving, strong & bright-eyed. He was sensitive, compassionate, caring & smart. He was the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back when and if you needed it. That’s the man Billy Badnow was. He’ll forever live in his family’s hearts & in our minds. We know that his beautiful, but weak heart on earth, is now healthy and strong, beating up inside of heaven, where all pain and suffering is left at the door.
We love & miss you so much, uncle Billy, Unc, Billy.
Missing you,
Richie

Mikayla
(And Memphis, Nikita, Yoda, Archie & Bogie bear, too.)
And you’re with your mother Katie, reunited now.
