John G. Marks of Hicksville, NY passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Elizabeth Gatto (Jonathan) and Jillian. A proud Marine Veteran. John started his career in law as a NYPD police officer, later going to Law School, and graduating in the first class from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in the early '80s. He practiced law up until he took the bench in District Court in 1997 later, he would move onto Family Court and eventually retire from TIPVA. Family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave., (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 11:15am, at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church in Bethpage, NY. Cremation Private.
