Obituary

Kerry “The Bull” Connolly, a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on April 25, 1961, in Woodside, NY, Kerry was the son of Owen and Rose Connolly. Kerry was predeceased by his brothers, Sgr. Michael and Patty, whom he held dear in his heart. He is also survived by his sister, Eileen, and siblings-in-law, Lori, Billy, Susan, Rick, Bob, and Madeline, along with nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will miss and cherish him dearly. He will also be remembered by his best friend, Jimmy O’Hara, with whom he shared many memorable moments and a lifelong friendship. Kerry married the love of his life, Lynne, and together they shared 35 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for each other. Kerry was a devoted father to Kerry Daniel and Breanne, and a loving father-in-law to Jill and Dan. His greatest joy came from being "Grumps" to his grandchildren, Kiersten and Cole, who brought endless happiness and pride into his life. Professionally, Kerry, known as “K-MAN,” was widely respected for his strong leadership and dedication as an elevator foreman for 40 years in Local One IUEC. His colleagues admired him for his reliability, expertise, and the lasting impact he made on everyone he worked with. He retired in 2021 and spent his days fishing, relaxing at the beach, golfing in Myrtle Beach, and traveling with his wife, Lynne, to all the places he dreamed of visiting. Some of his most cherished memories revolved around playing baseball, a sport that ignited his competitive spirit and brought him great joy throughout his life. Kerry will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his love for baseball, golf, and fishing.
