It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Carolyn A. Mammarella on July 14, 2024. She was 80. Beloved wife of Robert. Devoted mother of Christine Schena and Robert Mammarella. Loving grandmother of Robert, Jr., Thomas, Samantha, and Angelo. Cherished great-grandmother of Hunter and Coraline. Adored sister of John Shortmeyer. Proud Civic Leader and dedicated Past President of the Joint Civic and Taxpayers for the Town of Babylon from 1988 – 1992. Carolyn was treasured by her family and all who knew her.
