To the Souter family, I recently lost my father, if I may share what helped me cope (and if it helps you in some small way, that is my wish). Reminisce often! Memories what a gift, so share that gift and receive it when other’s share how they touched their lives! Let your friends help! If that’s just to sit quietly together, do it. It makes others who don’t know what to do or say feel like they’re still helping, even in the smallest gesture—it bonds communities! And never doubt the truthfulness in the Bible. At Acts 24:15 it assures us of the hope that our loved ones WILL live again! That’s what resurrection means “to stand back up” after “being laid down”. With my deepest sympathy!
