Our beloved father has gone to his eternal rest with Christ Jesus 12/18/2024. Saverio (aka Sal the Carpenter) came to the USA from Partinico, Palermo Sicily where he lived with his brother Anthony (Tony) & Mother Antonina. He worked as a self-educated Master Carpenter; he had hands of gold. Anita daughter of Anna and Pasquale Papania, met her beloved husband of 57 years, who was adored by his in laws, while playing cards. She always jokes by saying, “I won your father in a card game”. Saverio and Anita went on to have 3 children, Nina (John), Domenic (Barbara), & Anthony (Cara). Saverio was very proud of his sons who are very talented Tradesmen in supervisory positions, & his daughter "the nurse". Sal has 8 grandchildren- Nicole, John (Laura), Savanna, Amanda, Domenico, Anthony, Nicholas, & Gavin. The family recently welcomed Mark Patrick the first great grandchild. Family was everything to Saverio & he adored his sister in law Patricia Korber & her late husband Robert, his children Robert & David grew up very close together with the Settimo family. Sal loved Robby's husband Victor as well. Sal's brother Tony was married to beloved Gilda and they had 2 children, Roberto and Diana. Diana and her husband Ralph have two children, Gianna and Ralph who Sal loved very much. Saverio was loved by all, especially his extended families the Gavan's, Forhane's, Hanson's, Natale's, DiBetettos. Heaven is currently being reinforced and remodeled, by Sal the Carpenter, the man with the golden hands.
