Angelo T. Annas, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 96. Born in the Bronx, Angelo was a lifelong New Yorker and an avid Yankees fan. He began his military service in 1944 with the New York Guard and continued serving in the U.S. Navy, National Guard, and Marines until retiring in 1953 as a decorated veteran.
After his military career, Angelo became an investigator and was working on a case when he met the love of his life, Angelina. After a few years of marriage, the happy couple settled in their forever home in East Meadow. Angelo was a dedicated and supportive husband, as well as a loving father.
Angelo is survived by his children: Karen Engelman (Steve), Thomas, Toni Contona (Anthony), and Helen Palagonia, along with his grandchildren: Courteney, Angela, Thomas, Anthony, and Amelia.
