The Pochwalowski family (Soja, Yaegel & McAleer) extend our deepest condolences to the whole family. Our long friendship with Krystyna and her family started in Kolbuszowa and continued in New York. We will cherish those memories. Krystyna was a true warrior in her fight against cancer. She loved taking long walks around Middle Village and attending Sunday Mass at Our Lady of Hope Church. May she Rest In God’s loving heavenly Peace.

Although I never met Krystyna, I came to “know” her through my friendship with her daughter, Erica. The mother Erica spoke of was a strong and courageous woman. From moving to America, excelling in her career and raising two children in NY she exhibited determination and love. I know she raised a daughter with these qualities and have to believe she touched many peoples lives and will be missed beyond the ability to express. I am thankful she raised Erica to be adventurous, bright and courageous or I may have never had the opportunity to work and come to know her. My thoughts and sympathy are with all of you who lost a friend, a mother, sister, wife. May your memories sustain you in this time of deep sadness.

The Viechnicki Family extends its deep sympathy on the passing of their cousin, Krystyne. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts for the joy she shared with us all. Our fond memories of Krystyne started with her family's arrival in New York and our introduction to her and her brother shortly thereafter in Wallingford, CT.
With our prayers for Krystyne's eternal rest in the peace of Christ,
Dennis and Barb, Karen and Janet O.

I would just like to add a few memories to those from Dennis on behalf of all of us. My parents and I lived less than an hour away from the Kudej home and many a Sunday the three of us would get in to the car and drive there for a visit. Krystyna and I were only a few months apart in age so we became playmates during those visits. Of course, there was always good Polish food involved as well! Krystyna was courageous in everything she did, including her battle with cancer. Janet Olszewski
