Obituary
LOMNICKI - Willian W. “Billy” of Levittown, NY on December 3, 2021 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Bernadette and the late Nancy R. Lomnicki. Devoted father of Loriann Lomicki (the late Anthony), Diana (Christopher) Fannin, Nicole Saporito and predeceased by son Eric William Lomnicki and Joseph Saporito. Cherished by Brian Beehler who Billy considered a son. Adored grandfather of Jake, Juliette, Isabella, and Carter. Dearest brother of Barbara Perino (the late Euguene) and the late Marianna and Jay Rodrigue. Loved godfather, uncle, and friend to many. Billy was a proud Vietnam Combat Veteran and also spent many years fishing, protecting beach access, and coastal conservation. Family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, at Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass will be held Wednesday, 10:30 am, at St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church in Hicksville, NY. A private cremation will take place afterwards. Burial of ashes will be on Friday at Calverton National Cemetery Calverton, NY.
